The Foundations Course delivers the introductory level of Shen-Hammer Pulse and provides a comprehensive understanding of the Pulse Positions and Depths. We teach clear anatomical parameters within the radial arteries and the skin, bones, and tendons to find the qualities. Students will be equipped with the knowledge to identify various Pulse Qualities and interpret them through the lens of Chinese medicine physiology and pathology.

Foundations classes offer a blend of theoretical learning and practical application on fellow students, under the guidance of certified teachers and assistant teachers. Students have the opportunity to observe teacher demonstrations, study diagrams, and receive personalized feedback and corrections to refine their pulse palpation skills.
